Huawei has been crowned the top brand among telecom infrastructure providers, according to Brand Finance. Huawei also ranked in the top 50 in brand value globally in all categories.

Huawei’s brand value is $19.7 billion, a year-over-year jump of 70 percent, said Brand Finance. That was enough to knock Cisco off the throne as top brand in the telecom infrastructure provider category.

Brand Finance calculates brand value based on multiple factors including marketing investment, brand equity, and the impact of those on business performance.

Huawei operates in 170 countries, and provides infrastructure equipment and services to nearly every telecom operator in the world. Its unaudited revenue for 2015 is $60 billion.
